Evangelist Outreach At Moi University – Kenya

I was also granted the awesome opportunity to preach the Gospel on the campus of Moi University, a secular university in Kenya! Remarkably, the hall was packed with students; and there were many more standing in the street, which could not get into the building! I preached on “The Prodigal Son”, from Luke 15. They were all absolutely transfixed on every word that flowed out of my mouth! The glorious truths, found in that passage, were piercing the hearts of many in the congregation. Approximately 50 university students testified that the Holy Spirit was working in their souls, concerning the issues of authentic conversion! The Gospel was going forth into these young adults in a demonstration of Holy Spirit power and deep conviction! Of course, as always, we are praying for “fruit that remains” from the declaration of those Gospel truths. I received an e-mail from one of the many students who were in attendance. He shared these words of testimony. “My name of Timothy Rotich. I am the chairperson of the Moi University Aids Control Program, which engages in creating HIV awareness; as well as support and care for those who are infected or affected by HIV. On behalf of the entire student body of Moi University Kenya, I would like to pass our sincere gratitude to you, for being such an inspiration to our lives. Personally, Iencouraged by the message on “The Prodigal Son”! God was so gracious to work in many lives and forgive the sins of those who ‘truly repented from the heart’! We hope that you will visit our university again, when you return.” Friends, this was an awesome open door to plant the Gospel seeds into the hearts of many, many young men and women, from many different parts of Kenya!
