It was so wonderful to see the Lord send out His “saving power” into the lives of a number of adults and youth at
Evergreen Baptist Church last week!  This precious local church was led by their pastor in a wonderful way, to be
involved in intercessory prayer and practical preparations for this series of meetings. And God answered the
prayers of His people, in awesome manifestations of His strength and power!  Each evening service was abso-
lutely packed to capacity. Many of them were visitors from the community!   It was very obvious that God was
among us, speaking in a demonstration of His holy power and deep conviction. It was apparent, among many
people in attendance, that they had an insatiable appetite for the Word of God. Many church members were
bringing their relatives, friends and neighbors to sit under the Word of God! As the week progressed, the Lord
continually led me to preach on the glorious truths surrounding the realities and evidences of authentic conver-
sion!  God graciously visited many souls with apparent conviction, contrition and conversion. There was a wide
range of individuals who were “professing conversion”, ranging from teenagers to adults in their sixties!  I saw
grown men, the size of professional football players, weeping and broken over the condition of their souls, un-
der the reproving power of the Spirit of God! Oh friends, it is so glorious when God sends forth his majestic
power into the souls of men and women, to subdue His enemies and change them into His worshippers! Please
pray for those who have testified of conversion last week. Pray that there will be ‘fruit that remains’ for the glory
of God!
